Scruffts 2009...the dog show like no other...will take place on Sunday September 20th at FATACIL in Lagoa Algarve.

SCRUFFTS 2009.
The Association for Protection of Animals in the Algarve are pleased to announce that the 10th Scruffts Dog of the Year Show has now been confirmed for Sunday - September 20th 2009. The venue will be in the same place as the last show in 2007, in the FATACIL Showground in Lagoa, Algarve.
Judging classes this year have been increased by a further two pedigree sections to accommodate the increased interest for this part of the show. Details of the classes are as follows.
1. BEST PUP - MIXED BREED
2. BEST PUP – PEDIGREE (NEW FOR 2009)
3. BEST VETERAN - MIXED BREED
4. BEST VETERAN - PEDIGREE
5. BEST 6 LEGS - MIXED BREED
6. WAGGIEST TAIL - MIXED BREED
7. BEST MALE - PEDIGREE
8. MOST HANDSOME DOG -MIXED BREED
9. HAPPIEST RESCUE DOG - MIXED BREED
10. BEST FEMALE - PEDIGREE
11. PRETTIEST BITCH - MIXED BREED
12. MOST APPEALING EYES - MIXED BREED
13. MOST APPEALING EYES - PEDIGREE
14. BEST CONDITION - MIXED BREED
15. JUDGES FAVOURITE DOG - MIXED BREED
16. BEST CONDITION - PEDIGREE
17. JUDGES FAVORITE DOG - PEDIGREE (NEW FOR 2009)
18 . SCRUFFTS - BEST IN SHOW PEDIGREE
19. SCRUFFTS - BEST IN SHOW MIXED BREED

To enter your canine friend in any of these catagories you will need to provide thier vaccination books etc..class entries are 3 euros per class.
Entry to the show is 1 euro per person. Children entry is free. Registration will be from 10 am onwards with judging from 11am until 4pm
