CATAPILLAR SEASON !!!!!!

Please be aware that the processionary caterpillars are about! Your animal could be seriously affected by these creatures. An animal can loose their tongue as a result of a sting from a Caterpillar leaving them unable to eat or drink. Please be vigilant, your animal may even need to be put to sleep if they come into contact with one of these horrible things!!
If you suspect your animal has picked up a Caterpillar please take them to the vet IMMEDIATELY.

You will notice the caterpiller nests in the top of pine trees looking like a large ball. They are highly poisonos

Quintinha dos animais - Goldra

ANNOUNCMENT!!

It is with a heavy heart and her age, Maria Lourdes has decided to close goldra animal shelter.
The Quintinha was started in 2000 and will close in May of this year.

Unfortunately this means no more animals can be taken in by the centre.

Funds are still needed to enable the Quintinha to look after the remaining animals and the charity shops will still welcome the good that are donated.

Maria Lourdes wishes to thank everyone that has helped her over the years in so many ways.
We now have the task of finding homes for all of the animals in the shelter and cat village at goldra.

Soon will be pictures of all of the animals on www.quintinha-animalcentre.org

Please help us find homes for the remaining animals.
Opening hours: 11 am until 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

If you would like to visit on saturday please call Ingrid: 918 973 896 or sunday: verna: 96 256 0451 (Mondays to fridays - please call ingrid)

Cee Cee and Danny - RE HOMED!!

We are two sisters, now ten weeks old who will be small to medium dogs when fully grown. We have been told we are very pretty. We were living in a feild with our mummy when a farmer was very mean to us. We were thankfully carried to a nice lady near by who looked after us.

We are now waiting for our forever home. We have had our first vaccinations. Our favourite things are to be picked up, played with and cuddled!

Please call our foster mummy on 927921635 if you would like to make us part of your family.

Thank you!

RE HOMED!!
