Happy Waggy Tail Endings

Well we've had an interesting week on the re-homing front. After a month of getting no-where, being let down by people who changed their minds and not returning telephone calls, Molly and Henry found new homes last week within a day of each other. Henry was re-homed first, so Molly spend the day at work with Katy waiting for her new owners to come and collect her as she was so lonely without her brother. Katy was delighted with Molly's new owners, they'd already made plans to crate train her and really understood what a puppy needs to grow into a happy and sociable dog. However, Katy was surprised to find out that Molly's owners actually wanted two puppys, if she'd had known a few days before, they could have taken both Molly and Henry.

I'm a firm believer in 'what's meant to be will be' and was not at all surprised when Katy called on Saturday to say that Henry's owners had returned him. Although the wife was happy to have a puppy, her husband really didn't want one, and through no fault of Henry's it just hadn't worked out. So Katy was straight on the phone to Molly's owners to ask if they would like to have Henry, they took a moment to think about it and called back to say YES!

When you consider that these little puppies were found together at five weeks old hiding in the bushes; they had been abandoned, they were dirty and covered in fleas and ticks. The only constant thing they've had in their short lives is each other, so it is really great news that they will be able to grow up together in a safe and loving family home.
