Having been fed by a kind volenteer for a month now, she is starting to look much healthier and is slowly becoming more friendly.

She has been de wormed and is good with other dogs.

LOST DOG - BAILEY

Missing since 17th November.

This is Bailey the Border Terrier. He has been missing from his home in Sesmarias, Carvoeiro since 17th November and has not been seen since.

He is four years old with brown/black wiry coat and white chest.

He is castrated, microchipped and was wearing a red collar with his name tag when last seen. His owners are offering a reward for his safe return.

They are extremely anxious that he returns home to them. Please pass this information to your friends.

Rescued from the Gypsies - RE HOMED!

This dog was rescued from the gypsies. He was tied to a tree and starving to death (he's just bones) and covered in spray can paint!!!

He's been checked out in the clinic and tested negative for anything nasty. He's just anaemic and seriously malnourished.
He's about 1 and a half years old and very calm and sweet even in the middle of a busy vet clinic where he's staying for a couple of days.
In the right hands this is a beautiful dog, medium size with soft eyes.
Can someone give him a place even temporarily? He needs good food and plenty of TLC. The clinic can't keep him for long.

Sydney - RE HOMED!!

Sydney is a very sweet male dog who is currently in a foster home! Unfortunately however, he cannot stay much longer.

On boxing day last year Syd was picked up by his foster family after wandering the streets. He has been castrated, vaccinated, chipped, wormed and treated for fleas and ticks.
Sydney loves people and playing with other dogs, lots of cuddles and he enjoys going for rides in the car.

LOST DOG - Patolas

This dog is missing since 21st October. He disappeared from the area of Ladeira do Vau, and was last seen in the area between Penina and the Retail Park, in Portimão.
He is a family dog (Alentejo shepherd), very lovely and adored by his family. Patolas is a greyish, brown and black one-year-dog, male and big.

Kyra - Missing Dog

Kyra went missing from Guia on 22nd oct.

She only arrived from Kenya a week before, so is very lost and confused.

Shes an Australian Blue heeler collie, Spayed, microchipped,8 yrs old, but has a kenyan phone number on her tag.

A red collar with OXO all around it. Shes mostly black, with a brown white and black face.

This is a pic of her daughter. We think shes been sighted in Albufeira, but it may not be the same dog, as we didnt find her to see. Shes very timid, but must be very hungry now after 5 days.

Beauty - RE HOMED!!

This dog was possibly deliberately left on someone´s doorstep.
The vet thinks she is about 7 months old. She is housetrained and will be spayed and microchipped this Tuesday (3/11/09).

She is a very friendly dog and gets on well with children. The people who found her cannot keep her and can only look after her until after she is spayed. Please if anyone would like her, call the people on the number below.

Pele - 3month old kitten - RE HOMED!!!!

This 3 month old kitty was found beside the road in Alvor.
Due to an advanced state of catflu, he is blind and has had his left eye removed and may have to have the right one removed too.
He is sweet and playful despite his lack of vision.
He is a sweetheart who needs a 1000 star owner with lots of cat experience.
